Christmas Songfest

Each year during Advent, around mid-December, RPC holds our annual Christmas-themed children and youth led worship service. Children and youth are invited in the months and weeks leading up to December to participate in music and drama preparations for the special day. We always have a lot of fun coming together as a community to enjoy beautiful music and a nativity skit performed by our children and youth. Vacation Bible School at Redmond Presbyterian Church

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a volunteer run summer program intended to reach families with preschool – elementary age children in the community. Our goal at VBS is to provide a safe, welcoming environment, where kids can come to have fun while receiving the gospel message of Jesus Christ. It’s also a great opportunity to get plugged in and make some new friends. This day camp includes games, crafts, snacks, and exciting Bible lessons.

Summer 2017 VBS Highlights: “Do GOOD seek PEACE and GO AFTER IT!”

It was a bustling week of Vacation Bible School in the summer of 2017. We had so much fun sharing our red panda puppet, Flame, with the Redmond community at Derby Days. Over 20 children from the community joined us for VBS in July to learn about being a hero for Jesus. We offered an engaging rotational system of games, story time, music, and crafts each morning. Police officers and firefighters from the city of Redmond came and shared with the kids about their service in the community. Children were empowered to serve God and the community through learning the hero motto “Do GOOD seek PEACE and GO AFTER IT” followed up by a daily virtue such as having “heart”, “hope” and “courage.”
