Children

Welcome to our Children’s Ministry Page! If you are new to Redmond Presbyterian Church, please also see our Child Care and Sunday School page for additional information.

Children/Youth led Worship

Several times during the year, RPC holds a children and youth led Worship Service. Children and youth are invited in the months and weeks leading up to the special Worship to participate in music and drama preparations for the special day. We always have a lot of fun coming together as a community to enjoy scripture read by our youth and beautiful music performed by our children and youth.  After Worship, we celebrate with a joyous reception in our Fellowship Hall. AT-HOME VBS 2020:

CAMP COMPASSION
MONDAY, JULY 27 – FRIDAY, JULY 31

Overlake Park Presbyterian Church and Redmond Presbyterian Church invite you to join us for a week of at-Home VBS the week of Monday, July 27 – Friday, July 31.
You’ll get all the supplies you’ll need in your VBS Supply Box (to be picked up at church ahead of time – or shipped to you for a fee).
We’ll start each session with “live” worship on YouTube (much like our Sunday worship now), followed by a Zoom meeting for kids to interact with each other and their leaders and hear the daily Bible lesson. You’ll then have access to a YouTube video demonstrating the craft for the day – which you can do at your own pace.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to cultivate compassion and stay connected with your church family.

Puppet Ministry is alive and well @ RPC!

Children are offered the opportunity for creative writing as they develop scripts for a puppet presentation that supports the scripture. They then serve as emcee and puppeteers in their presentation @ Sunday Worship. Our Puppet Ministry which is offered 3 – 4 times a year is led by the wonderful Lujean Whitmore and she has a large ensemble of puppets. Please contact the office if interested.
